Good app. Sound is OK. When speed is below 60%, one starts to hear the beats, but overall sound still OK. Much better than Audiospeed.

iRehearse does exactly what it says it will do and it does it well. Its not as feature-laden as some of the other apps but if youre too impatient to figure out Audacity its definitely worth the money - especially when its on sale for $12! Sound quality is excellent compared to some others Ive tried. The only reason I held back a star was because the audio started to "stutter" when I ran a track below 25% tempo but I dont need to go that slow for the kind of stuff Im trying to learn. Overall, the app is very intuitive and simple to use. I looped and slowed a track within a couple of minutes of downloading. Id rather spend my time learning a beautifully complicated guitar part than irritatingly complicated software.

Im changing my review and downgrading my rating. Its reached a point where the amp simply will not load saved files anymore making it useless for practicing since it wont keep track of my progress. Needs a fis asap. My previous review is below: This is an excellent little App that does exactly what it says it does. An excellent investment if you are a musician that needs something to practice with. I use it for guitar to slow down tracks. The sound quality is good. Its great to have this easy to use app so I can get to practicing without having to fire up my whole Pro Tools rig. It allows you to name and save practice tracks with the settings you gave it. The interface is slick too. I dont think you can go wrong with this app. I do want to add however that Ive beem getting lots of errors trying to load saved files.

Ive already learned a handful of songs using this app and its so much cheaper compared to other similar programs. It does what it says it does: Loops and allows you to Phrase Train.. I think its a gem!

Changes singers voice. Does what it says, instruments sound fine with pitch change but vocalist either sounds really chimpunkish or like a dude (if its a girl)

This is just what I needed. Very cool app. Yes it can loop, and you can save the loops for easy access!!

Im new at guitar and I cant play songs up to speed yet. But I really wanted to practice with the radio. This allows me to practice all my favorite songs. Thanks. My favorite feature - being able to drag and drop songs from Itunes straight into the app. Thanks for making my life so much easier!

This really does just what I needed and nothing more or less. Its simple to use (I own 2 other programs like this…theyre not as easy). It slows down tracks while keeping pitch. You can create loops to repeat tricky sections. You can save those loops to attack later. Dragging directly from itunes is very convenient….and not all programs do this.

First off, I love this app and use it to learn songs that I have any difficulty with. Second, one small update that I think would be nice is if you could add like a 5 second delay before the song starts so that you can position yourself on the guitar and play the opening notes with more ease. Not sure if anyone else would like this feature but I think it would be nice. Just a suggestion, thanks!!!

If youre trying to figure out a tricky run or lick from a recording this is fantastic. I own tons of jazz albums and I plan on using this app to learn a lot of great stuff.

Without question, the best $12 Ive ever spent!! It works fantastic. If youre looking to learn a track or solo from a song, look no further. Thanks for the great app!!!!

Im a beginning ukulele player and this app is perfect for helping me slow down my favorite new songs so that I can play along and learn the chords. Its really easy to use - drag and drop from itunes is awesome and the controls are pretty simple and idiot proof. I just downloaded today but already I can tell Ill be using this app a lot.

Coming from Amazing Slowdowner which was a great piece of software, this does the trick but it drives me crazy that I cant export saved loops for future work. I had to install another app which is pretty cumbersome. But overall, it work well.

I love this program but I find it very difficult to read a blue font on a black background. If you changed that one little thing it would be perfect.

The app rates its 4 stars for simply being able to perform as advertised. I would have given it 5 if I could use my Airplay devices and not have to physically plug external audio into my Macbook Pro. Also I would love to have the ability to save mulitple loop points in each song rather than set the in/out points every time I move to a different phrase. Regardless, its now one of my favorite apps.

This app does what I need it to do with ease. Works great! My primary use for this app is to change songs from their original keys into whatever key my group is doing them in. This makes it easy to work out guitar parts in the new key. Sometimes I slow down the tempo for more difficult passages and it always tracks well with little to no artifacts. Also, If I’m learning a bass part that’s buried in the mix, I’ll raise the pitch by an octave which makes the bass notes much easier to hear.

For those of you who use the Aebersold and Hal Leonard jazz play alongs this is one handy tool. Many of those titles are recorded at very fast tempos rendering them unusable to amateurs like me. This app allows you to adjust the tempos to a bpm that an average human being can play. The ability to drag and drop from iTunes is so convenient. I have both programs open during practice sessions. You can make adjustments on the fly. Sonny Stitt clones won’t benefit much from this app but the rest of us mortals will. Highly recommended.

I find this musical training aid VERY helpful. It works intuitively and seamlessly. Best ap I’ve ever purchased. (OK, OK its also the only one….).
